If you are seeking help, you should make HijackThis log. Read below, how to make it.
1. In order to submit a HijackThis log log you will need to be a logged into the forums with a registered account. Registering is free. Create a free account.
1a. Once registered, check your mail and confirm your account. After that login to the Spyware Removal Forum.
2. Download HijackThis (HijackThis Installer - HJTinstall.exe) save it to your Desktop. Doubleclick on the HJTinstall.exe icon on your desktop for install (By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis). Click on Install, It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
3. Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis. Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in Notepad.
4. Copy and paste the contents of the HijackThis log into your post. If you are posting for the first time, please start a new thread by using the New topic button. When posting a HJT log, try to give brief details of your problems. Wait for help.
5. Once you have received advice on what should be removed, reopen HijackThis. Scan again. You have changed nothing and this scan result will be the same as the first. Place a checkmark in the box in front of each item you plan to remove. Click the Fix checked button. A confirmation box will appear. Click Yes. HijackThis will now remove the checked items.
NOTE:
1. If you have run and fixed anything with Spybot Search and Destroy or AdAware, please reboot before scanning.
2. Don't use the Analyse This button. The findings from it can be easily misinterpreted and are dangerous.
3. Don't have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless.
!!! Do NOT post a ComboFix log unless requested to !!!
!!! Please put the type of infection you have in the topic title, for example: Safenavweb hijacker, Vundo trojan, CID popups, MyWebSearch, etc. |
