Malware Catcher 2009

Help! I've downloaded Malware Bytes Anti-Malware and it won't run more me. I keep having to download programs and move them to the infected comuputer with a USB drive b/c Malwaer Catcher has disabled my internet connection!

Run HijackThis. Click "Do a system scan only" button.
Now select the following entries by placing a tick in the left hand check box, if still present:

Once you have selected all entries, close all running programs then click once on the "fix checked" button.
Reboot your computer.

Download Avenger from here and unzip to your desktop.
Run Avenger, make sure that the box next to "Scan for rootkits" has a tick in it and that the box next to "Automatically disable any rootkits found" does not have a tick in it, then click on ‘Execute’.
Afterwards, Windows restarts, and opens the log generated by The Avenger so you can see the results. If it does not automatically open, then the log can be found at %systemdrive%\avenger.txt (typically C:\avenger.txt).

Download RSIT by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
* Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
* Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
* Once it has finished, two logs will open.



Post back with Avenger log + both RSIT logs. Post each log in separate post (use postreply button).
