Delete dubious programs using Windows Control Panel

Remove SIVApp ads from Mozilla Firefox by resetting web browser settings

Run the Mozilla Firefox and press the menu button (it looks like three stacked lines) at the top right of the browser screen. Next, click the question-mark icon at the bottom of the drop-down menu. It will display the slide-out menu.
Select the “Troubleshooting information”. If you’re unable to access the Help menu, then type “about:support” in your address bar and press Enter. It bring up the “Troubleshooting Information” page as shown on the image below.
Click the “Refresh Firefox” button at the top right of the Troubleshooting Information page. Select “Refresh Firefox” in the confirmation prompt. The Mozilla Firefox will begin a task to fix your problems that caused by the SIVApp adware. Once, it’s finished, click the “Finish” button.
Remove Ads by SIVApp from IE
If you find that Microsoft Internet Explorer web-browser settings such as search provider, home page and newtab having been changed by SIVApp that causes web-browsers to display annoying popups, then you may revert back your settings, via the reset internet browser procedure.
First, run the Internet Explorer. Next, click the button in the form of gear (). It will display the Tools drop-down menu, click the “Internet Options” as displayed in the figure below.

You will now need to restart your system for the changes to take effect.
Remove SIVApp adware from Google Chrome
Run the Reset browser utility of the Google Chrome to reset all its settings such as search engine by default, home page and newtab page to original defaults. This is a very useful tool to use, in the case of internet browser redirects to annoying ad web sites.
- First launch the Chrome and click Menu button (small button in the form of three dots).

- At the download page, click on the Download button. Your web-browser will display the “Save as” dialog box. Please save it onto your Windows desktop.
