This message is a bitcoin email scam that uses your email account name to convince you that the hacker was able to hack your email box, get full access to your computer and use you webcam to record video while you watch adult websites (porn). In order to keep the video from being sent to your contacts, the hacker demands a ransom payment in bitcoins.
Our team continue to receive reports of fraudulent messages. Recent version demands $2000 ransom payment. Below is an example of one of the extortion messages being sent out. The wording varies to some extent, but the email message looks something like this:

the process of your masturbation.My software has also grabbed all your email contact lists
and a list of your friends on Facebook.I have the – Sales.mp4 – with you jerking off to teens

you must send me Bitcoin payment. I give you 72 hours for the payment.If you don’t know how to pay with Bitcoin, visit Google and search.

However it just made me think, just how secure is the camera on a MacBook etc?
Im assuming it is actually possible for someone to hack into this, as well as the email account…..hopefully its not a genuine blackmail attempt……
