Hlas ransomware is a new variant of the STOP (Djvu) ransomware that encrypts files on a victim’s computer. The malware is typically spread through unsafe downloads, such as cracked games and activators. Hlas encrypts all files on the computer and appends the “.Hlas” extension to each encrypted file. It drops a ransom note called “_readme.txt”
