A dialog box that says http://www.msftconnecttest.com/redirect Application not found is displayed each time my computer is turned on.

It would really help, if you could help me.

I think that the reason for the http://www.msftconnecttest.com/redirect Application not found is the wrong Windows settings. Try the following to fix this error:

Click Search, type regedit and press Enter
Run Registry editor
Go to (in left panel) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Services, NlaSvc, Parameters, Internet
Look for EnableActiveProbing and open it
Change the value from 1 to 0
Close registry editor and restart computer
