Thank you for all the helpful information. Still need your help, I’ve got attacked by this virus when i downloaded a freeware. Now my files are encrypted with .koom extension.

To remove KOOM virus and restore encrypted files, do the following:
1. disconnect the computer from the network
2.download to the USB stick using another computer or phone several programs from the next list: https://www.myantispyware.com/2018/04/23/best-free-malware-removal-tools/
3 scan the infected computer, find and remove the virus.
