1. Reboot your computer in Safe mode with networking.
Restart your computer.

3. Remove antispyfond.com hijacker associated malware.
Download MalwareBytes Anti-malware (MBAM). Close all programs and Windows on your computer.
Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application. When the installation begins, keep following the prompts in order to continue with the installation process. Do not make any changes to default settings and when the program has finished installing, make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

although I use AOL which apparently doesn’t work in safe mode, so once in safe mode I did a system restore, then downloaded the anti-malware, and cleaned up my PC.
It states that certain files cannot be deleted when I perform the scan. Is there anything else I can do?

Laptop keeps switching off during the scan , before it’s completed so I can’t actually remove it. any ideas how to get round this? this is in safe mode. If I scan in normal mode it doesn’t allow it to complete
